Through advertisements, but also in other forms such as poetry, art, music and painting, cork has aroused interest in various quarters and is recognized as a national design.

The Origins of the Future

‘The Origins of the Future’ is a book which concept is based on establishing a parallel between human skin and the skin of the cork oak (cork). The images are by fashion photographer Frederico Martins, who illustrate the story through visual representations that convey the perfect symbiosis between this unique material and the human being.
