APCOR Members

APCOR has approximately 230 members who represent about 80 percent of national production and more than 85 percent of cork exports, and cover all the sectors of the cork industry: preparation, processing and marketing.

APCOR ensures that its members are committed to the highest standards of production of cork bottle stoppers, in order to ensure that the wine industry and clients in the sector are provided with products of the highest quality. 

APCOR members are privately or collectively owned companies, or any other entities that meet the requirements.

APCOR’s aim is to group all privately or collectively owned companies, whether within the national territory or wholly-owned by Portuguese nationals in foreign territory, that are directly or indirectly engaged in the production, marketing or export of cork products.

The application should be submitted on a printed form, adopted by APCOR, signed by the applicant and by an effective partner of the business. Acceptance of applications for membership is at the discretion of the board of directors, which will give its opinion within 30 days of receipt of the application!
